距离Office Live推出已经近两年了，所以对Office Live这两年来的用户增长情况作个简单的统计还是有一点意义的。Office Live Small Business作为微软与Google的Google Apps在企业尤其是中小企业用户的企业在线应用领域竞争的产品，从一开始就被寄予了较高的期望。那么，现在Office  Live Small Bussiness究竟拥有多少用户呢？下面这幅图或许可以说明一点点问题：

注：

1. 图中所有数据均来自于IPWalk，数据版权归IPWalk所有。
2. 图中07年12月的数据并不可靠, 因为IPWalk关于Office Live最新的域名数据仅到07年12月10日。

从图上可以看出，Office Live现在拥有的域名数约为50万，间接的说明其用户数也在50万左右，其用户增长呈良好的态势。

DomainTools的一项新功能也给出了类似的数据：

NS1.OfficeLive.com/NS2.OfficeLive.com对应于约50万的域名

相关IP对应约47万的站点（Whois任一采用Office Live服务的站点）

当然上面的数据由于统计方法的不同，肯定是存在一定的误差的。但综合观之，到07年底，Office Live的用户应该已经达到了50万，并将持续增长。尽管这些数据有可喜的一面，但Office Live恐怕还需要更好的提高用户体验以及推出更实际的功能可扩展性的才能够吸引更多潜在的中小企业用户。当然，国内的用户呢暂时就不能顺畅的享受它了。

值得一提的，DomainTools的这几项功能也可以让我们看看微软究竟拥有多少域名：

Hmmm，近1万7千个。

9月份的时候，微软曾对Outlook Connector进行了一次强制升级（发布时间为9月11日），这次升级也导致了几乎所有的免费用户都无法从Outlook中收取信件（查看用户的抱怨）。直到上月末，微软才放出了修正版的Outlook Connector，其版本号为12.0.4518.1068（9-11版本为12.0.4518.1063），所以强烈建议大家尽快升级。

或许因为之前的Bug太低级了，这次升级在官方Blog中找不见一点影子。

但最新版的Outlook Connector以及Windows Live Mail依然无法收取近期注册的Office Live Basic的管理员帐户(注册OLBasic服务时默认选定的管理帐户admin@yourofficelivedomain.com),添加帐户后会出现以下错误提示：

Unable to send or receive messages for the Office Live Mail account. To send and receive messages in your Hotmail account, go to http://hotmail.live.com on the Web, or try again later. To get help from Windows Live Customer Support, go to http://support.live.com and click Windows Live Mail in the list of services.

这个问题目前尚无有效解决方法，所以这里只能建议您在Office Live中重新设定一个账户，例如new@yourofficelivedomain.com, 这个账户在Outlook Connector和Windows Live Mail中的使用将会是正常的。

UPDATE:无法收取Office Live Basic的管理员帐户的问题现已解决。

近日，部分Office Live站点被堵于高墙之外，但目前尚无足够多的样本验证究竟有多少依托于Office Live服务的站点被屏蔽。目前已知的被屏蔽站点包括但可能不仅限于：

PressPass刚刚公告指出“Microsoft Office Live Is Now LIVE”，而新市场（包括日本，德国，法国和英国）的Office Live也将在11月21号推出。

Office Live主要面对中小企业，并提供了Basic，Essentials以及Premium三种方案以方便用户选择，他们的费用分别为免费，$19.95/Mo和$39.95/Mo，具体的参数可以在这里找到：

Office Live中比较吸引用户的特性除了空间存储容量与用户邮局个数的增加之外，便是更便捷的网页编辑方法（仅对收费的Essentials和Premium提供），内置的adManger广告管理和附带的Office Accounting Express 2007等。

但从目前自己的使用状况，暂时升级的只是Office Live主页，还没对其用户的网站进行升级，相信在不久的将来就可以完成了。特别需要说明的是：

1. 用户网站升级前一天会收到一份关于升级的通告；升级过程会在24小时内完成，此期间网站依然可以访问，但无法编辑；升级完成后用户需要重新接受用户协议才可以继续使用。

2. 原有的Basic用户依然享用Basic服务，Essentials服务用户将自动升级为Premium以确保服务的无缝衔接；升级完成后用户必须接受新的用户协议，并为相应的服务付费，届时微软将从你的卡片中扣除相应的费用；在接受协议后的一个月内，用户可以选择取消或升/降级自己的服务，届时微软将会对这个月的费用进行重新结算（多退少补）。

If you are an Office Live Essentials subscriber, you will automatically be moved to the new Office Live Premium service. This will allow you to retain the online Business Applications that were included in the Office Live Essentials Beta. Once you have been successfully moved to the new Office Live you will be need to agree to the new service agreement upon signing in to regain access to your account. LiveSide指出：微软今天宣布他们的重拳产品Office Live将在今年11月15日正式发布。从微软presspass给出的公告看，此次将主要包括如下几点：

增加服务类型：除原有的Basic与Essentials之外，还将设定Premium服务
提升各类型服务的存储空间：Premium用户最高可获2GB存储空间
新增Microsoft Office Live adManager Beta：与Microsoft adCenter协同工作，以向Windows Live Search投放相应的广告服务。

除了关于Office Live的消息，我们还得知Office Online将可能在11月13日发布，届时其将可能由Microsoft adCenter提供广告支持。Office Online与Office Live同时发力，表明了在线Office应用正在越来越受欢迎。

UPDATE: 来自Office Live Newsletter的消息和Office Live官方Space的消息称：届时Basic版本将包含25个2G的企业信箱和500M的网络存储空间，而Essential与Premium（价格分别为$19.95/Mo与$39.95/Mo）则分别包含50个信箱和1G空间与50个信箱和2G空间。具体的比较可以在这里看到。除了这些令人期待的升级之外，Office Live还将给中小企业带来全新的应用体验。比如内嵌的adManager以及附带的Office Accounting Express 2007等。您可以在这里察看细节。同时，信件还指出，此次升级将在这个月的月底开始（在我们之前的文章中指出，确切的日期为11月15日）。在升级的时候（约24小时），您将无法修改您的网站，但这不影响您的访问。尽管如此，微软还是建议您备份您重要的文件文档等。在升级完成后，所有用户有30天的时间同意微软的新协议。

在Office Live推出一段时间后，曾因为好奇而尝试了一下Office Live的服务，并因此免费注册了一个域名。短暂的尝试之后，决定把这个域名转出来。于是到Office Live的网站上寻求帮助：

从上可知，只要取消了Office Live Beta（OLB）的服务，M$就会给你一个相应的Key，继而你可以对域名进行进一步的控制。

取消OLB服务远比我想象的复杂，因为尽管整个注册过程都是自动完成的，取消过程却找不到相应的入口，尤其是在进入了Billing帐单后，更是为之困惑。最后不得不相信，取消服务只可以以电话或Email的方式进行。显而易见，我选择了Email联络。

在Email表达了我的意愿之后不到24小时的时间内，M$的客服给我回信，回信的只要目的是核实个人信息，主要包括：

名，姓
联络Email
电话号码
信用卡的末四位

当然，他也会很盛情的挽留你一番。

回复与他我的意图并附上相关必要讯息后的24小时内，收到了M$客服的信件，当然，里面含有那个相当重要的Key哦。

由于M$和Yahoo！一样，也是与MIT（Melbourne IT）合作的，所以从M$释放出来的域名还得到MIT进行进一步操作。

在MIT注册成功后，很快就可以把自己的域名添加到管理面板里了。这个时候，M$客服给我的Key就派上用场了。添加域名后，MIT提示它重新发放了一个Key到你的信箱；这个新的Key确认之后才算完成了整个工作中的一大部分。而这个时候Unlock域名，修改DNS等也就可以进行了。

至此，转移域名的工作算是完成大部分了，如果需要转至国内的注册商，相应的其他工作也就简易多了。
